About Michael Boal
Michael was born and raised in Ankeny, Iowa. After graduating high school, he attended Iowa State University before completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska.
Michael earned his JD from the Nebraska College of Law and returned home to Des Moines to begin his professional career. He is now an attorney with the Parrish Kruidenier law firm and practices in criminal and civil litigation. Before working at the Parrish firm, he served as a law clerk for eight of Iowa’s district court judges in Dallas County, and then clerked for Justice Edward Mansfield of the Iowa Supreme Court. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Polk County Bar Association.
Michael married his high school sweetheart, Dani, and they live in Windsor Heights with their dog, Warner. Dani has performed in many musical theatre productions around Des Moines, and even convinced Michael to audition for a production this past summer. Both Michael and Dani volunteer for community theatre organizations in the metro.
